Nice Shout for UsedWigs, Creative Staircases, New Super Music Blog and Deer + Rabbit = BFF

Hooray for Us! Thanks to PhillyBurbs and Chris Illuminati for naming UsedWigs one of “Ten Best Philadelphia Websites.” FYI, we won a year’s supply of butter (salted I hope, adding your own is time consuming). Since we’re in the midst of our own horn tooting and talkin’ PhillyBurbs, here’s a fun little interview we did with Dave McGurgan a few months back.

Music Blog Guys Unite! 5 of the top indie music bloggers in the Western Hemisphere have banded together in matching skin-tight costumes to fight crime, battle injustice and save the world from imminent… um wait, no, they just made another blog. It’s called MBV and will feature contributions from the masterminds behind Said The Gramophone, Large Hearted Boy, Fluxblog, Chromewaves and Catbirdseat. Why have the they joined forces? Not really sure. But the design is minimal so the content must be stellar. Website: www.mbvmusic.com.

Download This: I just discovered Issue Oriented, an excellent podcast featuring “Punk, hardcore, indie, metal and beyond.” The latest show features Tom Gabel of Against Me! Very cool.

Cool Gift: This cool little laptop desk will provide comfort for your internetting and cushioning for your boners.
