So Bad It's Good: Dora Hall's 1972 TV Special

Usually when I come across something so completely bizarre yet so completely engaging like the above gem, I Google and Wiki the crap out of it to learn every itty bitty detail so I can sound like I’ve been in the know all along and can care share with authority.

Not this time, kids. I have no idea who the hell this old battle-axe Dora Hall is and don’t care why she is butchering a bunch of pop songs with the likes of Phil Harris (??), Frank Sinatra Jr. (what an atonal creep), Rich Little (the 19th Beatle) and some twee little fella named Oliver (I think he was a famous orphan). Here’s the equally odd intro.

Around the 45:00 minute mark, enjoy the purple-clad man dancers. They’re giving it their all. (The one in the way back reminds me of Dave Hill.)
