I Like Sayid, He Kills Golfers
By Jeff Lyons on Feb 15, 2008 in Television

I gave up on Lost last year at this time — Desmond dreams about Charlie for three straight episodes… riveting stuff — but I came groveling back and I’m glad I did. Last night’s episode starring Sayid doing his best Jason Bourne was one of the best hours of television in recent memory: lots of questions answered, lots of action, lots of wicked curve balls and almost no Claire.
Besides being a top-notch bad-ass assassin, you must give our favorite torturer props, Sayid’s hair looked awesome on that big date! (Someone found body-building conditioner and a blow dryer in Berlin!) If you missed the killer episode, watch it here while you wolf down your sad little lunch at your desk. For the best commentary, theories and figuring out all the literary allusions so you don’t have to, check out Jeff’s Jensen’s insanely thought-out morning after recap. It’s a fun read.
This just in, now that the writers are back, there will be 4 more episodes produced this year in addition to the first batch of six that are already in the can. So they will be packing more plot-advancing action in fewer episodes. I can live with that.
Lastly, Eli Stone is a douche.
