Mmmmm Soupy! Like most of you, I despise E! and the cavalcade of D-list shit they parade in front of us. I try to ignore it as much as possible but I do make an exception for the wonderfully smart-ass Joel McHale and his crack team of brave souls who watch the worst of the worst reality TV so you and I don’t have too. Read this swell Onion A.V. Club Interview with Joel and get some cool, behind-the-scenes info and some more reasons to loathe that numskull Tyra Banks.

Philly Horror Story: Philly-based writer and filmmaker Shaun Brady penned the fascinating cover story for the latest issue of the City Paper about a psychedelic horror film shot in Philly back in 1972. The soon-to-be cult classic has been exhumed and will be shown at the International House in Philly. Shaun says,

“I’ve spent much of the last month researching the film and tracking people down, and it’s been fascinating for me - hopefully some of that comes through in the piece. There’s a defunct amusement park, early eco-friendly architects creating psychedelic sets, rich guys with money to burn and movies on the brain, and even Herve Villechaize.”
