Video: "Juno" but Not That "Juno"

It’s always odd when something extremely popular commandeers the name of something much less popular you dig that already exists. In ye olden days, I was pissed when that stupid “Jawbreaker” movie came out and you’d see the soundtrack in the same section as the almighty band of the same name. Boo.

In related cranky, old guy news; I was so very happy to find this amazing video for the band Juno. This masterpiece is entitled “When I Was In _____”. I didn’t think I would find this gem amidst all the clips of Ellen Page. But I did, that’s perseverance for ya, and a lot of free time on a Saturday night.

Juno broke up a while back and regroups from time to time. Check out the 2001 CD “A Future Lived in Past Tense”. It is an epic audio experience. Bonus: look for Nick Harmer of Death Cab jamming out in his impeccable trance-like groove in this rare high-quality video, he rules.
