Movie Trailer Review: "New York, I Love You"

If you love gawking at good looking actors, I’m talking non-stop close-ups of perfect faces and playful glances, you’ll lose your shit for this super-sized commercial produced by the New York City Tourism Board. This movie is so goddamn adorable I want to hug it. Hug hug hug! Really squeeze it hard for a very long and uncomfortable time until it taps out or bursts, drenching me in a glorious mess of hipster hats, Anthropologie scarves, finely-crafted bon mots, cigarette-infused tweed, bright autumn leaves and of course, human entrails.

Dig the subtle title too, I’m certain critics will not be replacing one key word with the likes of: loathe, hate, despise, can’t stomach…

    New York really takes itself to seriously. And yeah, that LCD Soundsystem song is great, as well as the Phoenix song in the trailer.
