Righteous Kill
In Theatres: September 12th, 2008
Producer: "Hey, I'm doing another cop movie, I need two older Italians — one over-the-top loudmouth and one sourpuss mumbler — to play veteran NYC detectives who must solve a blah blah blah.
Central Typecasting: "You mean Di Niro and Pacino, right?"
Producer: "Exactly"
Central Typecasting: "You got 'em both, no problem. I take it you need a rapper too?"
Producer: "You know it, thanks, but we already have Fifty Cent signed on."
Central Typecasting: "Nice. Need someone for the fast-driving, hotshot young cop role?"
Producer: "Nope, we're using the insanely sexy female cop that doesn't exist in real life character instead."
Central Typecasting: "Makes sense. How about Angelina? She knows how to fire a gun."
Producer: "Thanks, but she's too expensive and we don't have daycare on set. We got Carly Gugina lined up."
Central Typecasting: "Don't you mean Carla Gugino?"
Producer: "Whatever...she fills out the uniform nicely, that's all that matters."
Central Typecasting: "Who else is signed on?"
Producer: "Your typical New York cop guys... Leguizamo as the Latino... Dennehy as the Mick. Speaking of, have you seen the size of his head lately?!"
Central Typecasting: "Yeah, It's immense. He has liver spots on that thing the size of sirloins. Good luck getting someone else in frame with him. So, we good?"
Producer: "Yeah, we're good."
Central Typecasting: "See ya on Netflix."
Producer: "Yep, definitely sooner than later."

Did I spot Anthony Michael Hall? I hope so. That will make it rock.

Should have checked IMDB first because, no, that is not Anthony Michael Hall. But it it was that would be truly excellent. Maybe. Probably not…

Beck, that psycho at the beginning was a definitely an AMH head fake. Yes, Farmer Ted makes all things better.
