Unearthed Video: “Lies” by Neal Schon & Jan Hammer

The space between Neal Schon’s chin and the top of his jeans? About 8 inches. That’s definitely not a lie. Best view of this high-waisted handsomeness, around the 1:50 or 2:17 mark.
I do love this song, much more than anything from Schon’s other band at the time with that chick singer. Other things to love about this vid:
- Schon’s ascot is absurdly large.
- The love interest is a stone cold fox.
- Schon opts for the arm sweep instead of the expected “break the mirror” move. (0:41)
- Stealing Schon’s gal? Dick move, Hammer. Dick move.
- Schon in no way appreciates the smell of Hammer’s schlong. (1:36)
- Emphatic “No More!” (1:57)
- Lightning bolts (with realistic drop shadows) and heart tattoo moves to the beat. (2:13)
- Hammer stick his tongue out a lot when rocking the keytar as well as the drums. (2:23)
- Frodo Baggins and John C. Reilly could and should star in this remake.
- Bright white sneaks with jeans never goes out of style. (Am I right, my ASP.NET developer friends?)
- The boys skillfully axe their way out of the elaborate cob-webbed enforced cell in which they were trapped.
- Despite betrayal, Schon & Hammer stay friends and continue to rock the fuck out. Fros before Hos, my friend. Fros before Hos.
