“Staycation” is a grim word. It reminds us our economy is deeply clogged in the crapper and our savings accounts are filled with pennies, tumbleweeds and broken dreams. It’s also a very lame word to say. If you gotta partake in one of these gas-saving, budget vacays at least try something a little different… with a much more descriptive name.
