There’s just so much to love about these super-pumped people of faith. Giant James Franco is my new favorite Jesus dancer and his vanilla-flavored “Dawn” bust out some heavenly moves too boot. I also dig the double-threat keyboard assault, but I’m not so happy with the air-drummer in the back pretending he’s pounding the skins to a pre-programmed drum track! Fake drums? Sinful.

Throw Another Shit on The Barbie! I know I gripe about Philly Radio a lot, and deservedly so, but allow me to bash satellite radio for a moment. Sirius and XM, the only two players in the satellite market, have merged (I know, who cares) and they are axing a bunch of channels. They recently pulled a move will make Philly knuckleheads pump their fists in the air with glee: Fungus 53, XM’s venerable punk and hardcore station manned by Lou Brutus, has been sacked and replaced with a 24-hour “AC/DC” channel. No kidding, 24 hours a day of mediocre dusty Dinosaur rawk from those craggly old midgets from down under. Ugh, mate.

Why Jeff? With so much hooker-killing, limb-splattering video goodness out there, how can you resist?

For one, I enjoy human interaction and two, I spend a ridiculous amount of time staring at a screen for work, so staring at a screen after work isn’t the best way to treat my beleaguered and bloodshot peepers. But I might have to rethink my stance now that this amazing news just hit the Webs:
