Share Music with Twitter: Ever want to post a song clip via Twitter to show everyone just how magnificent your musical taste is? This little Twitter app seems to do the job nicely: twt.fm. My first test: Jawbreaker “Ashtray Monument” ♫ http://twt.fm/229109 . Lovely! Please do not use this this app for evil (posting that new Creed, Kings of Leon song).

Speaking of Twitter, they have a new homepage (better design) that hopes to lure in new users by showing some real cool functionality… meaning, “Look at our Trending Topics! #William Shatner! #Harry Potter! How could you not want to join?” More>

Help, I Need Just One More Reason to Completely Loathe Comic-Con: There was a panel on the show Chuck.

What is “Smart Tossing”? Back in high school, we picked up and moved our friend’s Yugo. That was fun but this is a bit out of hand (okay, still kind of fun).

More Useless Crap from Japan: Giant Soccer-Playing Robots. Yeah, soccer… ten years from now these same mechanized menaces will have giant Terminator-like guns in their shiny metallic claws as they play the game in the streets of a post-apocalyptic Tokyo using human heads as the balls. Be afraid.

The 20 Best R.E.M. Songs of All Time? Here’s what Paste mag thought. Hard task, but the writer Josh Jackson did a nice job considering how many truly wonderful songs they have produced. “Talk About the Passion” from Murmur is a solid choice for #1. Nice to see the more rocking “These Days” make the list. “Bittersweet Me” (New Adventures in Hi-Fi) would have been a great wild-card selection. Glaring omission? “Sitting Still” should be in the top ten, taking the place of one of rock’s most annoying songs, “It’s The End Of The World… blah blah blah.” Love me the R.E.M.

WOXY – Here’s a fun little 9-minute doc on my favorite Internet radio station. FYI, WOXY is leaving Cincy for the hipper and hotter Austin, TX. I thought being in Ohio was part of their charm. Hope it works out for them.
