We The Robots

With so many hip happenin’ things on the web, I just cannot keep up. But, through the magic of StumbleUpon, I finally discovered this funny online daily comic strip that many of you have been enjoying for a good while. The strip centers around colorful robots, created by Chris Harding, who must deal with the madness and mundane nature of everyday life (consumer culture, tech, coworkers, ennui, etc.). It’s subtle tone and deft comedic touch remind me of the innocent yet incisive humor of Calvin & Hobbes. I also really dig the minimal illustration style of the bots (think Exploding Dog), it’s amazing how much emotion Harding can show with just a few simple lines.
