That Guy You Recognize From Those Shows Can’t Remember His Name Either

“I’m pretty sure I was on a popular show in the 90s about a businesswoman and a dancing baby but I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the show, or my own name. It’s like Craig something or other. I seem nice.”

The actor who has been in numerous TV series and some movies, mainly in supporting roles over the years, sees himself pop up on TV from time to time when he’s flipping around. “Last night I was looking for that cooking show where the guy yells at everyone, and I saw myself dressed up as a doctor on one of the networks. I think it’s called Chicago Doctor? I actually said aloud, ‘Ooh, I think that’s me, damn, what’s my name again?’”

The lack of recognition doesn’t seem to faze the good-natured actor with a pleasant face and a somewhat forgettable personality.

“My wife then walked in with a bowl of popcorn and said, “Oh yeah, it’s on the tip of my tongue… Peter MacNicol! Wait, he was the other guy on that show… let me look it up.”

But she never did. When his wife went to open IMDb, she got distracted by a Facebook notification and forgot to check.
