Please Help Support Some Very Good Shelter Dogs

September 29, 2015

Hi Friends,

I will be running this Saturday in the third annual Rescue Run 5K in Philadelphia. Please help me support The Monster Milers Philadelphia’s shelter dog-running volunteer group and rescue organization by making a donation.

In addition to the 3.1 miles I’ll be running on Saturday, I will run an additional 17 miles on Sunday for a total of 20 Miles to make these dogs smile! Hoping some of you animal lovers can sponsor me for a dollar a mile or whatever you can give. I will pet so many dogs in your honor!

Donating is fast, easy, and secure. I truly appreciate it. It will benefit a great cause and help some super pups who need a home.

PLEASE DONATE

Thanks so much! My buddy Winslow and appreciate your support!!

The Monster Milers Mission Statement:  Our primary mission is to connect Philadelphia runners with homeless dogs as running companions. We provide ongoing support for various shelter facilities in Philly through sponsored adoption events and daily running adventures for the homeless dogs as they wait for their forever homes. Our Lifesaving program saves lives directly as we rescue dogs from the City shelter and place them in loving homes via our foster and adoption programs.

Organization Goals:

  • Save lives by connecting homeless dogs with loving homes via our foster care and adoption programs.
  • To offer dogs in the Philadelphia shelters a form of regular, vigorous exercise
  • Bring about a sense of calm in the dogs, to facilitate quicker adoptions
  • Attend annual running events and races to find loving homes for shelter dogs
  • Encourage runners to adopt dogs for safety, friendship, and motivation.
  • Recruit more volunteers for Philadelphia’s shelters, not only for running purposes.
  • Increase public awareness about the plight of the 30,000+ homeless pets that enter Philadelphia’s animal shelters each year.

PLEASE DONATE
